yes, starbucks was true to their word when they said they were an 'international sensation.' come here to get the best beverages and calorie cakes you can get your hands on. for some reason, starbucks smells a little bit like home and less british to some americans. maybe because we spoiled starbucks first and then got it to leak everywhere. it's a comfortable joint, filled with high tables and chairs and good window seats. if you choose to eat outside, you get nice little tables with big umbrellas overhead. all in all, it's a pretty nice place to just go and relax all those tense joints from work and school play. enjoy your vegan brownie and have a nice day.

london can be a pretty dangerous place. obviously there is too much excitement for you to handle to wind up here on this hospital bed with all kinds of doctors and nurses running around trying to poke people with needles and chop them up for experiments. don't freak out, these white walls engulfing you aren't you imagination, they're real. and can you hear that? that absolute silence of the room and halls, that's a sign that you can get some rest. no one cares to stop in and visit you it's that quiet. and there's that absolutely clean smell that you love about a hospital, where nothing smells like anything normal. the food doesn't smell or taste like food either. this place is absolutely great, right?

oh you must have messed up bad with the british law. they don't appreciate it when you tease the guards in front of the palace and have every right to lock you up behind bars for harassment. your american rights don't count here, so you best be a pretty good sweet talker. public disturbances, such as pissing in a public fountain, don't sit well with the law either. they don't like people like you. if you're a local, make up chat about that weather or that cricket game. they might feel sympathy for you and let you loose on a warning. who knows, just play your cards right and get out before the bring the homeless drunks in.

this is the white house of england. where the boss man lives and lurks. really, boss lady. it's the big house on the left, the ones with the guards standing in front with the big, bushy hats. ye, the ones that look like they have beavers eating their heads. just like the white house, you can go on tours of buckingham palace. don't touch or take anything otherwise you'll be tackled to the floor and be put under arrest. they see and hear everything.

it's the biggest ferris wheel in all of europe. it rotates thousands of feet above solid ground. you stand in large bubbles and rotate around, and around. you're trapped at the top of the ferris wheel to see gorgeous sites of the city of london, seeing miles of streets and buildings. what would really sucks is if you were afraid of heights, or you were claustrophobic. once you're in that bubbles you don't get out until the ride comes to a complete stop, or rather yet your bubble. until then, you're sealed in and doomed to be paranoid about whether or the not the bubble will fall off it's hinges and send you down to your death. what a fun ride, right?

do you remember when you were little and watched peter pan? do you remember when they landed on the big clock? well, this is the historical site itself. from here, it's second start to the right and straight on until morning. the site where peter pan himself landed. big ben sees over the city, alerting everyone what time it is with it's loud dongs. you can find him on the other side of 'tower bridge.' looming like always. he's a big tourist attraction and everyone wants to be seen under or beside big ben. there's a tourist spot where you can stop and stare up, taking pictures if you please. remember kiddies, it's second star to the right and straight on until morning.

fine dining is all around the city of london. hell's kitchen's chef, gordon ramsey, came from london after all and his five-star restaurant is located in his hometown. there's all kinds of fine dining places located up and down the streets of london. or you might not have enough cash to take your date on a proper outing so you need to take them to somewhere a little lower-class. that's fine, london has those kinds of diners as well. so don't freak out, you might get laid tonight after all your hard scouting.

going out for a big celebration? or maybe you're just going out for fun, either way, the night life of london should satisfy your party thirst. they have clubs that are blasting music, selling great alcoholic drinks, and women dancing everywhere. or maybe you want a more intimate club, quieter but still has that taste. there are clubs for you people too. you'll find london's taste of clubs similar to new york's taste. you can always find somewhere to go, someone to drink with, and someone to go home with. the drinks may change, but that could be for your benefit. the faces are all the same though. someone desperate for some company for the night and someone willing to give some company for the night. welcome home.

there are tiny little shops located at almost every corner of london. little chocolate shops here, small little flower shops there, an occasional bridal shop here yet again. if you're not into the whole "cutesy little boutiques" thing, then just head to the london mall. it has all your shopping needs that can be easily satisfied. why look, there's victoria's secret! why look yet again, there's areopostle. your world can be complete again without having to run around to the cutesy little stores. live free, max at all those shopping cards you've been cradling in your bag.
