First off! I’m gonna make these rules a bit different. I know everyone’s a bit sick of reading the same stuff over and over and over again. so I’ll make this short and sweet.
When you register, you can register as whatever name you want, maybe your name or a character’s name. But please refrain from something like “liltinkstink3443”. It’s not necessary. After you register, please be sure to look at the face claim, and canon list. It is on a first come, first serve basis, so post your reservations ASAP! But do not post as a guest please, because it’s simple to join in a few minutes, and then post. There’s no restriction on how many characters you want to create, but please. If you can’t handle more than three characters, might I suggest you keep your limit to three? for your display name we ask that all names be put in uppercase lettering, full name only. For your application, please follow the template we have provided you. Don’t change any of the coding. Ever. It could cause chaos, and change the whole template, and make it go all wonky. Then the floodgates of hell will open. But in all seriousness, if you have a part of the application that you don’t have an answer for –e.g. siblings- then just leave it blank, put none, or something. But do not erase it :c. please be thorough with your application, since it’s kind of like your resume. We’ll be looking at the role-play example mostly, so please, use a good one that shows you average post ability.
Original and canon characters are accepted on this site. So don't freak out if your PB isn't on the canon list, you can use an original character. As said before, this is a literate site, and as fore mentioned, we’d like each post to have an average of around 600+ words. Saying this, we all know that people off their off days, and sometimes they just don’t have the muse for longer posts. There are two things you could do. Either do the post to your best ability, we understand because we all lose creativity, or just wait until another day to get the post done. Also, don’t be a dickhead about your posting ability. So you can post 2,000 word posts each time? that nice, have a sticker. The site isn’t meant to be a competition. We’re glad someone with excellent skill has graced out site, but don’t be a sore winner. So you know how you post your application and you normally put their last name and then the rest of their name? Yeah, don't do that here. We'd prefer you use a lyric line from the son in either all caps or all lowercase letters. It just looks neater. Same goes for your regular threads. Don't capitalize one letter because it's correct grammar, all lowercase or all uppercase letters only. Detail is your friend. Stuck on a post? Use detail. And lots of it. Describe how your character is feeling, what they see, what they smell, what they taste, what they do. It also helps the person you’re posting with understand how your character deals. Because no one likes to write a huge eight paragraph post, and get a three liner in return. So be sure to work with what you can handle, and maybe try to give what that amount, or close to, or working with someone more to your skill level. That being said, please please please do not bug someone unnecessarily for a post! It’s kind of like being poked in the eye after a while. Just, kindly remind them after a few days that you posted, in case they didn’t notice, and leave it. They’ll get to it when they get to it. But if you feel they’re taking a long time, just ask them about it, maybe they’re having muse trouble, and need help. the application phrase is , "tongue stuck between my teeth" Yes, this is a site based on real life things. So what happens in real life? Shitty drama. That means drugs, sad times, happy times, and sexy time. That means mature content ahead. If your post gets a little out of hand, and you don’t want to scar some people, please put a warning in your title. Maybe [r] or a [SEXYTIMES]. Anything, please. We’re not going to force you to close the curtains, and fade to black when mature things come up. Use past tense! And third person. I don’t want to see “he walks up to jimmy and says” in your post. Or “I walked out of my bedroom.” please :c
Come in and chat! It’s nice when new members talk to the old ones, and get a feel for the people. we just ask you don’t spam the cbox with unnecessary comments. Or post too many times in a row. We know sometimes that it glitches, and posts what you say twice sometimes, but don’t be spamming it up because you’re online, and no one is responding.
Each character must have a play by. Musician, actor, actress. Whatever. You can use myspace people or deviantart people, but just make sure you have enough images of them. Also, each account needs a signature and 100x100 icon. It’s just neater, and in my opinion, prettier. If you don’t have Photoshop, or just lack skills, we have kids that have skills to pay the bills. Aka you can post a request in the right boards for graphics, and get some done for you.
I lied, that wasn’t short or sweet. :3 deal.
